Napanee Beer Company, What to do in Napanee and Bath, Ontario breweries, visiting Lennox & Addington County, road trips from Ottawa, day trips from Kingston, craft beer in Napanee Ontario, what to do in Napanee and Bath, Naturally L+A, Blacklist beer

Napanee Beer Company

Award winning craft beer in the heart of Napanee. Napanee Beer Company started from humble beginnings and is now known in the area for their unique, tasty brews. They have four consistent beers that you can find all year; Deadline premium blonde lager, Mayday Belgian pale ale, Blacklist black German lager and the Extremist Belgian-style IPA. Each one is considered a favourite, depending who you ask. For the most unique of the bunch, I would try the Blacklist, described as ‘if a light pilsner and coffee whiskey had a baby’. You’ll often find limited quantities of seasonal beers as well.

Stop by and grab some cans to go. During non-Covid times they offer tastings and tours on site; stay tuned once things open up again! If you’re in Kingston, Napanee, Odessa or Bath you qualify for local delivery.

With a fun, modern take on a family tradition, Mackinnon Brothers Brewing grows their own hops, wheat and barley for the beer they create. A spacious lawn with picnic tables and barrels scattered as seating, and fields of crop in the distance, make a scenic atmosphere to enjoy a pint. 33 Vines

What became an abandoned vineyard over time, is breathing new life since it was purchased by the Dunn family in 2019. The vineyard is being well taken care of, and the building itself is turning into a beautiful venue for tastings, parties and events. The wine they offer at 33 Vines is primarily from a stockpile from the years 2009-2015. It will be tough to choose a favourite wine as they’re all easy drinking and tasty. Head inside for a tasting and make sure to ask about the history and previous ‘members’ of the Barrel Room. Grab a glass of your top pick and enjoy it on an Adirondack chair outside near the vines.
